Our Service & Pricing
InstantSolarReport.com provides professional solar analysis reports for $9.00 per report. Payment is required upfront before report generation begins, and all payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Important: Our reports are preliminary estimates for planning purposes. They are not professional consultations, engineering designs, or guarantees of actual solar system performance or savings.
When Refunds Are Available
✅ Full Refund Scenarios
- • Technical System Failure: Report fails to generate due to our system errors or server problems
- • Service Unavailability: Our service is unavailable for 48+ consecutive hours after payment
- • Payment Processing Error: Duplicate charges or processing errors by Stripe
- • Unauthorized Transactions: Fraudulent or unauthorized charges (subject to investigation)
- • Data Integration Failure: Complete inability to access required NREL or geocoding data for your address
Refund Amount: Full $9.00 payment returned to original payment method
⚠️ Partial Refund Scenarios
- • Incomplete Report: Report generates but missing significant sections due to data limitations
- • Significant Delays: Report delivery delayed beyond 24 hours due to our system issues
Refund Amount: $4.50 (50% of payment) - report still provided with available data
🔍 Investigation Required
The following situations require investigation before refund approval:
- • Claims that the address was not properly processed (we verify against Google Maps API)
- • Reports of system errors that don't appear in our logs
- • Disputes about report accuracy or completeness
- • Claims of unauthorized access or payment
Investigation Time: 1-3 business days. You'll be notified of the outcome via email.
When Refunds Are NOT Available

We do NOT provide refunds in the following circumstances:
- • Successfully Generated Reports: Report was created and delivered as promised
- • Change of Mind: Decision not to proceed with solar installation after receiving report
- • Buyer's Remorse: Regret about purchasing the report for any reason
- • Estimate Dissatisfaction: Disappointment with projected savings or payback periods
- • User Input Errors: Incorrect address or bill amount entered by customer
- • Market Conditions: Changes in utility rates, incentives, or solar prices after report generation
- • Third-Party Decisions: Installer quotes, financing denials, or permitting issues
- • Property Limitations: Discovering roof issues, shading, or other property limitations
Important Reminder
Our reports are preliminary estimates intended for initial planning and comparison. They explicitly state their limitations and recommend professional consultation. Dissatisfaction with estimate accuracy or usefulness does not qualify for refund when the report was successfully generated and delivered.

Stripe Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, our PCI DSS compliant payment processor. Refunds are also processed through Stripe and returned to your original payment method.

Refund Limitations
